Commission info

This site is under construction! Meanwhile I'm most active on Bluesky & have commission open on VGen (links above)

Jennahe's Terms of ServicePlease read this entirely and carefully. By commissioning me, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions.Effective from 1st of February, 2026. I have the right to alter my Terms of Service at any time. New rules will not apply retroactively and won't influence orders started on older terms.GENERAL
» The final product is a digital file of the finished artwork, not a physical replication of the art.
» Finished work will always be a 300 DPI .png file (minimum of 2000 pixels wide). Canvas sizes may vary, and the client may also request specific dimensions and DPI. I will also offer a watermarked, smaller variant of the finished artwork for online use free of charge.
» I retain the right to refuse or cancel any commission at any time for any reason. The reason does not need to be disclosed.
» Please be respectful and kind. Any aggressive, rude or inappropriate behavior will result in cancellation of the commission and may also result in you being blacklisted from commissioning again.
» All my art is created without any kind of aid of AI technology in any part of the process.
» References are required, otherwise the commission will be counted as a design commission. Design commissions are more expensive due to extra labor on my part, and thus will come with an additional design fee. (Reference sheet is not mandatory, any kind of visual reference of the character is eligible as long as it's not too difficult to properly interpret details from)

PRICES & PAYMENTS
» The prices displayed on this site are subject to change according to the difficulty and complexity of each individual piece.
» All commissions under 100€ have to be paid up front before work begins.
» Commissions over 100€ can be paid upfront but are also eligible for payment options, which can be discussed further.
» Rush fees are at least + 30% of the commission. Fees might vary depending on the commission and the time-frame provided.
» Design fees are at least + 30% of the commission. Fees might vary depending on the commission.
» Complexity will result in a higher price. Complexity can include but is not limited to: wings, tattoos, intricate clothes, jewelry or armor, familiars, weapons, vehicles etc. I will never charge extra for mobility aids, hearing aids or other disability aids.
» Additional fees will be charged for excessive or major revisions after the sketching phase. (See "Revisions" below)
» You must be able to pay via invoicing, as I use invoices in order to preserve legal rights and protect against fraud/scandals.
» Payment is upfront (unless payment plan has been set) in Euro (€) via Paypal invoice only (or VGen Payments when ordering there. (For people living in Finland, bank transfer and MobilePay are accepted also).
» Do not send me any money before I have sent you the invoice. I will only start working on your commission once the payment (or initial deposit) has come through.
» If you want to tip me, you can buy me a coffee!
DEADLINES & DELIVERY
» If there's a solid deadline needed, this must be agreed upon prior to starting any work, and a rush fee may be applied depending on the wanted turnaround.
» Regular turnaround varies from a week up to multiple months, depending on commission type, complexity and personal life, unless a solid deadline was agreed upon.
» The customer acknowledges the possibility of a long turnaround time, please wait patiently for your commission to be finished. I value quality and at times work very slow. Any long delays will be communicated to the client by me.
REVISIONS
» Major revisions can be provided during the sketching phase. (The only exception being the "Pay What You Want" / "Surprise Me" commission types, where no major revisions are offered, only minor tweaks)
» The first 2 major revisions are free; each revision after that will cause additional fees of 5€ minimum. (1 major revision = changes to as many parts as needed)
» After the sketch has been approved by the client, any major revisions will cause additional fees. Major revisions are primarily but not limited to: changing the commission's subject(s), background, set of clothes, poses or expressions. The additional fee depends on the amount of work the extra revision(s) require.
» Minor tweaks can be done during the process and once after completion. Minor tweaks can include things like changing the hue of overall colors or fixing errors by the artist, like adding missing accessories. These tweaks are done free of charge.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & USAGETHE ARTIST
» I, the artist, retain the copyright of the commissioned artwork.
» I reserve the right to sign and/or watermark my own work. I will send you a full resolution image, but my signature will remain on both the full resolution and smaller versions of the artwork.
» I reserve the right to use, publish and record the artwork and its process.
» I do not claim ownership of any intellectual property in work done, such as original characters, creatures, and designs, unless stated otherwise.
THE CLIENT
» Commissions are for personal use only. (Commercial rights must be discussed and purchased from me, the artist)
» The client is allowed to display the commissioned artwork on their social media accounts and galleries (such as posts, icons, banners) as long as the artwork is not claimed as the client's own and proper credit is given.
» The client does not have the right to remove, edit, or otherwise alter my signature or other pieces of the artwork. (Except when cropping the work to use as an icon or banner)
» Producing physical merchandise (such as posters or stickers) of the commissioned artwork is allowed provided it is only for personal use and not for profit.
» In the case of an adoptable, the client retains the rights to the character design.
» The client may ask to stay anonymous if I publish the commissioned artwork online.
» The client is not permitted under any circumstances to use any part of the commissioned work or WIPs for AI (artificial intelligence) or ML (machine learning) tools, platforms, programs or future inventions in the space. Client is also not permitted to use any part of the commissioned work or WIPs for any block-chain related technology including non fungible tokens (NFT), cryptocurrency or future inventions in the space. Using any commissioned work is also strictly prohibited from use in any advertising or profits associated with any of these.
COMMERCIAL USE
» Commercial rights can be discussed and purchased from me, the artist. For commercial use, the total price of the commissions, as well as any other royalties, will be agreed upon upfront.
» The minimum price increase for commercial use is 100% of the original price. However, I reserve the right to charge more depending on the type of commercial use.
» The following are considered commercial use: reproducing and selling the artwork (publicly or privately), cases where you receive profit from a medium/platform where you have posted my artwork (eg. Patreon, Youtube, Twitch, personal sites, business cards etc.)
PRIVACY REQUEST
» If you wish for your commission to be completely private and not published online, it must be stated during the ordering process.
» I reserve the right to charge a fee for completely private works.
» The privacy request entails that I am not allowed to share any WIPs or parts of the completed work on any social media, nor am I allowed to stream the process of the commission anywhere.
» Privacy request can also be agreed upon until a certain date. (eg for gift art, commissions for VTubers before their debut etc.) This type of privacy request can be done free of charge.
REFUNDS
» All commissions are non-refundable unless I fail to deliver a finished product.
» If I need to cancel the commission for any reason, a full refund will be provided. If work has already been done prior to cancelling and you want to receive it unfinished, partial refund will be provided depending on the amount of work done.
» If we agree on a payment plan and I start the commission after the first deposit has been done, I will not refund that deposit if you back out of the payment plan.
» The client is not authorized to issue a chargeback. Purposefully issuing a chargeback without contacting me to cancel/refund a commission will result in immediate blacklisting. If turnaround time changes and becomes unbearably long for the client, please contact me to see if we can find a solution for both parties before issuing any chargebacks.
COMMUNICATION
» Communication happens mainly via VGen, Bluesky or Discord (@Jennahe) unless agreed otherwise.
» The client reserves the right to be notified of any delays.
» I can send additional WIPs (work in progress images) if requested. Otherwise I only send WIPs in the initial sketching phase. Requests for additional WIPs must be reasonably spaced (Couple of WIPs per phase of work, like lineart, base colors, shadows, lights etc.) to avoid constant messaging and interruption of workflow.
» If no feedback or suggestions are provided by the client when given WIPs, the client is held responsible for any dissatisfaction with incorrect details.
» Should anything happen that will have an effect on the commission process, I will immediately reach out to the client to keep them updated. Should anything happen on the side of the client, I encourage you to reach out with any issues.
